The Alya Eco is a polyester fiber which is produced from recycled PET. The ecological appeal is, with no doubt ,an important differential. But it isn't the only one. With 1.4 dtex (20% thinner than a cotton fiber), the Alya Eco presents excellent technical characteristics.

The Alya Eco is mixed with other fibers such as cotton or viscose which permit the development of articles that attract the consumers' attention because of the its comfort, soft touch, perfect fitting and high resistance. These are attributes which please label and fashion world designers as well as textile manufacturers who work with professional uniforms.

Approximately 20 thousand bottles are required to produce one ton of Alya Eco fiber. Or, in another comparison: a basic white T-shirt, with a 50% Alya Eco and 50% cotton mixture consumes two 2-liter PET bottles.
Application :
The main application of the Alya Eco fibers are in the textile products; they can also be mixed with a number of raw materials such as cotton, viscose, linen, and liocel, among others.

Mixtures with the Alya Eco offer an excelling fitting on the articles, providing a better touch and greater comfort and resistance.
